The Adi Kailash or Chota Kailash is located in a different direction, near Sin La pass and near Brahma Parvat, the base camp of Adi Kailash is 17 km from the Kutti village at sacred Jolingkong Lake with Lord Shiva temple.
Adi Kailash the Home of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Adi Kailash is one of the Panch Kailash according to Hindu Mythology. OM Parvat and Adi Kailash are considered very sacred place in Hinduism. Just a darshan of it can make your inner self enlightened and cleansed. It is believed that the cosmic energy that is prevalent here can transform a person. It is the land of tranquility and serenity. The demon king Ravana meditated here and was blessed by Almighty Shiva with the strength of 20 arms and brains of 10 head. According to the legends, there are only eight mountains in India, which has an impression of OM symbol. Out of these eight, only one has been discovered, which is known as Om Parvat or Adi Kailash. This magical mountain, Adi Kailash, is standing tall at an elevation of 6191 m in the Dharchula district. It is quite known for its strong religious and adventure connect, also, it is believed that the mountain has a miraculous nature. One thing, which makes this mountain look apart from other Himalayan ranges is its OM shape, which is formed by the by deposition of snow on the black mountain.
Om Parvat can be viewed in route to the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra from the last camp below Lipulekh Pass at Nabhidhang India-China border post protected by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police also has Public Works Department guest house on the Indian side.[9] Many trekkers to Adi Kailash often make a diversion to view Om Parvat. Om Parvat is located near Nabhi Dhang camp on Mount Kailash-Lake Manasarovar yatra route.
Day 01 – Dharchula Arrival
On arrival Dharchula check-in at the hotel. We get the Paper work for the Inner line Permit. You can explore Dharchula and also Nepal today. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02- Dharchula – Gunji/Nabi (85 KMs/ 6 Hrs) 3200m After breakfast drive to Gunji/Nabi the area that we are visiting is simply beautiful village. En-route We will also visit natural beautiful villages like Chialekh, Garbyang, Napalchu. This village is base camp of Adi Kailasha, you can feel the real experience of Himalayan culture and divine gravity. Overnight stay at Home Stay/Tent/Huts.
Day 03 - Gunji/Nabi - Om Parvat Visit - Gunji/Nabi (20 kms / 02 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Om Parvat. Om Parvat peak elevation is 5,590 m above sea level. After darshan of Om parvat, relax there with yourself, try to do meditation and feel the blessing of Shiva. Later proceed for Kali Mata Mandir at Kalapani Shesh Nag Parvat, Vyas Gufa then back to the home stay. Overnight stay at Nabi Village.
Day 04- Gunji/Nabi – Adi Kailash - Gunji/Nabi (70 kms / 06 hrs both way) 4500m
Early morning after breakfast drive to Jyolingkong (The base camp). En route you can see – Pandava Parvat, Pandava Fort & Parvati Mukut. You can start trek for Parvati Temple & Adi Kailash which is 06 kms trek (Also you can hire Pony to avoid the trekking it cost near about 3,000.00) Perform Pooja and Meditation at Lord Shiva & Parvati Temple at Parvati Sarovar then proceed for Adi Kailash then back to base. Evening return to Home stay. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05- Gunji/Nabi - Dharchula (85kms / 06 hrs.)
After morning breakfast, we will return to Dharchula. Evening free for leisure or take a rest. Diner and Overnight stay.
Day 06- Dharchula Departure
After morning breakfast check out from the hotel.
